As the chief medical advisor to the Shri Ratanlal Kanwarlal Patni Foundation Trust, Dr. S K Sogani has been instrumental in shaping and advancing the foundation’s visionary humanitarian and healthcare initiatives. Under his expert guidance, the Foundation’s efforts have not only addressed urgent health needs but have also championed broader causes rooted in compassion and community welfare.
• Championing Gau Seva: Recognizing the profound spiritual, cultural, and ecological value of animal welfare—especially the revered care of cows (Gau Seva)— under his guidance, the Foundation has taken bold steps to elevate animal rights and protection:
• Establishment of Gaushalas: Establishment of 4 State-of-the-art cow shelters provide safe haven, nourishment, and comprehensive medical care for abandoned, stray, and elderly cows.
• Advocacy and Awareness: The Foundation leads campaigns to foster respect for animal rights and promote ethical treatment, inspiring a more compassionate society.
• Bridging the Gap in Healthcare Access: Accessible and affordable healthcare is a core mission of the Foundation. With His leadership, programs have been launched to ensure no one is left behind: The Foundation has established 3 modern hospitals, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), and blood banks, ensuring delivery of quality medical services to those in need in the remote towns of Rajasthan.
• Outreach through Free Medical Camps: Regular camps - including weekly check-ups extend essential healthcare to rural and underserved populations, addressing diseases before they escalate.

Mahavir International Delhi (MID)
A Voluntary Charitable Non-Religious Social Service Organization
As a Life Member of Mahavir International Delhi (MID) for last 27 Years, he is the guiding force and chief medical advisor of MID, he has spearheaded initiatives delivering free, high-quality healthcare to over 59 lacs underprivileged individuals. MID in Gujarat has extended its community welfare and healthcare initiatives to the state of Gujarat, reaching out to the needy sections of society. With his effort and support of CONCOR through MID has organized more than 100 Eye and Health Check-Up Camps since 2013 in across Gujarat at the following locations: Kaligam, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad | Sarkhej, Gandhi Nagar Highway, Ahmedabad | Ankleshwar, Dist. Bharuch | Jamiyatpura Village, Dist. Gandhinagar | Macchu Nagar, Gandhidham, Kutch
Under his guidance and support of Petronet LNG Ltd, MID has reached deep into the tribal areas of Gujarat in 2024 to provide eye and health care services, with a special focus on women’s health, which is often neglected. Through these efforts, MID is distributing essential nutritional supplements and disposable sanitary pads to promote menstrual hygiene, thereby improving the overall health and well-being of women in these communities. Disaster Welfare Services, Earthquake Relief & Rehabilitation
Dr. Sogani has consistently with association of Mahavir International Delhi (MID) stood at the forefront of disaster relief and rehabilitation efforts across India and neighbouring regions, extending timely support to communities impacted by natural calamities.

During the unprecedented floods in Kerala in August 2018, which claimed around 400 lives, MID promptly dispatched shelter kits worth ₹2.20 lakhs to the affected families, standing by its commitment to support communities in distress.

When a high-intensity earthquake struck Nepal’s Gorkha district in April 2015, resulting in around 9,000 deaths, 22,000 injuries, and widespread destruction with the help of Dr. Sogani, MID members generously contributed. Relief included 70 ready-to-use shelter homes, clothes, medicines, food, and household items, amounting to ₹4.26 lakhs, providing critical support to those rendered homeless and helpless.

In the aftermath of the devastating floods in Uttarakhand, Under Dr. Sogani’s guidance MID constructed a five-room Government Inter College building with four toilet blocks at Naini (near Nauti) in Chamoli district, at a cost of approximately ₹35 lakhs. This building replaced the one that had collapsed during the July 2013 calamity. It was inaugurated by the then Deputy Speaker of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and dedicated to the public through the then District Magistrate, Chamoli, on 26th December 2015. Additionally, MID paid ₹1 lakh towards registration charges for land donated by a local family of Sainji, Gairsain (Chamoli) for the construction of a Sub Primary Health Centre. MID had also extended generous support during the 1999 calamity in Uttarakhand.

Following the catastrophic earthquake that struck Kutch-Bhuj in Gujarat in January 2001, resulting in approximately 1500 casualties and 1.7 lakh injuries, with help of Dr. Sogani as MID team funded the construction of 26 housing units at Raphar in District Kutch. This initiative provided vital support to families affected by the disaster, contributing significantly to long-term rehabilitation and rebuilding efforts in the region.

In response to the devastating cyclone that hit Odisha and parts of Andhra Pradesh in late October 1999, leading to around 10,000 fatalities, as a team member of MID provided essential flood relief material to support the afflicted families, reinforcing its role as a dependable partner during humanitarian crises.

As the member of organisation have been in fore front for extending its support be it in national emergencies by making contributation to National Defence Fund for Kargil War Victims by presenting cheque for Rs. 87201/- to the Chief Minister of Delhi.

As an advisor to Kund Kund Bharti Foundation, Dr. Sogani's deep understanding of Jain philosophy and societal needs has enabled him to effectively steer the Foundation and develop programs that promote the study and practice of Jainism. His extensive network and reputation have also been crucial in mobilizing resources.
